We are now looking for a rental broker focused on commercial premises for the rental group at the Economy & Service Center in Västerås.

As a rental broker in the Rental department at Riksbyggen Economy & Service Center, you will work in a service-oriented role responsible for customer contacts and executing our management assignments. You will ensure that we deliver within set service levels and keep our customer promises. You have a strong ability to take responsibility and initiative, work proactively, see the big picture, and provide excellent and clear service to customers and colleagues with great commitment. You work efficiently, with high quality and customer focus according to established working methods and are involved in refining and developing our working methods and deliveries.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Rental of commercial premises as well as housing, parking spaces, and storage units,
• Customer contact
• Contract management, such as terminations and drafting lease agreements
• Rental administration such as invoicing and handling subletting.

You will be part of a team of currently 16 people and are expected to work independently in processes as well as with your own area of responsibility, but also in a group as a team. You will be responsible for the rental of several properties with rental apartments where you, in collaboration with the property manager, aim for the lowest vacancy rate.

Experience and Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
• Experience in renting out premises and/or housing
• Experience in drafting and renegotiating lease agreements
• Good knowledge of rental legislation, rental levels, and models
• Good ability to express oneself well in both speech and writing

It is a merit if you are a certified rental broker with special registration, have experience in renegotiating commercial agreements, or have previous experience in customer service at a customer service center or similar field. You are a confident user of the Office suite and feel comfortable communicating in English when necessary.

The position is full-time with permanent employment based in Västerås. Riksbyggen applies a probationary period. Riksbyggen strives for a balanced gender distribution and sees diversity as a strength.
